Card price data alternatives
For card dealers and collectors comparing data sources: who each is for, price, API and MCP access and history, each with its source and the date we read it. Boogie Data (us) is listed too. Our API and MCP server open soon and our history is short (most of it since September 2026), but of the paid options here with a confirmed price, ours starts lowest: $5 a month for one card category in one dataset. To hear when they open, join the waitlist.
The options
| Option | Who it is for | Price | API | MCP | History | Sources, checked on |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Boogie Data (planned) | Dealers, collectors and AI agents who want sold prices as rows, one card category at a time. | $5 a month ($50 a year) for one card category in one dataset: everything we have collected for that card category, kept current, over the API and MCP. $9 a month ($90 a year) for every card category in one dataset. Each dataset is priced separately, so add up the card categories and datasets you need. A one-time download of one card category's last 7 days in one dataset is $2. Planned launch prices; nothing is for sale yet. Pricing | REST API with dataset, slice and row calls; opens at launch. REST docs | Yes: an MCP server with the same calls as the API; opens at launch. MCP docs | Short: sold lots from Fanatics Collect, Goldin and MySlabs, collected since September 2026. Part of the Fanatics Collect archive we read has older sales, mostly from January 2022 on; we hold part of it, not all. | Pricing and methodology, 31 October 2026 |
| PriceCharting | Collectors and sellers looking up values, with paid plans for API and CSV access. | Collector $6 a month or $59 a year; Legendary, the plan with the API and CSV downloads, $49 a month. | Yes, with a paid subscription (its plans page lists the API under Legendary): one call a second; CSV downloads on Legendary, one every 10 minutes. | No MCP server mentioned in its API documentation. | The API returns current values only; historic prices and sales are not supported through it. | pricecharting.com, checked 2 November 2026; pricecharting.com, checked 2 November 2026 |
| Market Movers | Collectors who want sales comps. | Starter $9.99, Premium $24.99 or Unlimited $49.99 a month; annual billing saves 17%. | No API mentioned on its site. | None mentioned. | Tens of millions of sales comps dating back to 2001. | marketmoversapp.com, checked 2 November 2026 |
| PSA's public API | Looking up PSA certification details by certificate. | Could not confirm. | A public API for certification details; needs a PSA account. The API page does not mention auction prices. | Could not confirm. | Could not confirm: PSA's auction price pages refused our reader. | psacard.com, checked 2 November 2026; psacard.com, checked 2 November 2026 |
Lowest starting price of the paid options here with a confirmed price: $5 a month or $50 a year for one card category in one dataset (planned), against the PriceCharting Collector plan at $6 a month or $59 a year; the Market Movers Starter plan at $9.99 a month (its page says annual billing saves 17%). Theirs are whole-plan prices; ours is per card category and per dataset, and each dataset is priced separately, so add up the card categories and datasets you need before comparing. We could not confirm a price for PSA's public API, so it is left out.
Not in this table: Card Ladder, 130point and PSA Auction Prices Realized. Their public pages refused our reader or came back empty on 2 November 2026, so we could not confirm current prices or features, and we leave them out rather than show older facts.

What we don't have yet
Most of our history starts in September 2026. We have no phone app, collection tracker or card-photo search, and no eBay Best Offer prices.
