Comparable sale
Comparable sale: A completed sale of the same item, at the same grade or at another grade adjusted to it, used to judge what another copy is worth.
How we measure it
The card and comic value search (opening with the API) will use up to 20 recent same-grade sales of the same item and grading company, add other grades (price-adjusted to this grade by a fixed 1.5 times per grade point; for comics only grades within one point) only when fewer than three same-grade sales exist, and weight recent sales more.
What it is not
A comparable sale is evidence, not a quote: the next copy can sell for more or less.

Field names as the API returns them; each dataset's page in the API lists the field's type and unit.
